PROFFESIONAL and ARTISTIC LIFE:

Artistic, promotional and advertisement photographer. From 1971 up until this day he has worked as a graphics designer, director of advertising, publisher, advertisement photographer and motion picture inspector. He has published black and white art calendars and artistic posters, he has prepared proffessional magazines and trade union newspapers. He was part of the documentary film team of the Ministry of Culture. He has directed promotional and advertisement campaigns. He has taken photographs for commercial catalogues and brochures. He has photographed for many cultural books and catalogues of artists. He has given lectures on photography in public organizations. He has participated in panels, symposiums and public lectures and he has given lectures in universities. He has given over 100 slide shows. He has participated national and international photography competitions and biannuals and he has participated in mixed, collective and invited exhibitons in Turkey and other countries. He has won national and international awards.

His articles and essays on the subject of the art of photography have been published newspapers and magazines. He has photographed the cities of Prague, Budapest, Mersin/Mut and Gaziantep. His person and his works have been the subject of the works of many Turkish poets, writers, painters and ceramicists. He has taken political promotional photographs and he has become famous as an expert photogrpaher on the subject of portraits of politicians. He has continued his proffessional photographic studio that he founded in the year 1987 until the year 2005.

PUBLICATIONS ABOUT HIM:

Up to this day, many newsreports, news articles and interviews were published and broadcast about his artistic works in Turkey’s most important art magazines, in local and national newspapers and in radio and TRT (Turkish State Radio and Television) channels. TRT1, TRT2 and TRT4 television stations prepared documentaries about him in various times. He is shown as among the important names in contemporary Turkish photography in the websites of the Office of the Prime Minister, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, certain embassies of Turkey and the General Directorate of the Press and Broadcasting.
